Drawing Process - Lineart + Colors 🔥
This is roughly how my colored line drawings come together. After I did the sketch and lineart I start with flat colors. I also add some hue shifts in the skin, for example on some skin parts like cheeks and shoulders. Then I add one shadow layer (usually Multiply), a lighting layer and often another layer on top for highlights. If I am in the mood I may also add a secondary light source. 🌟
Drawing Process - Rendered Illustrations 🔥
When I plan to fully render an illustration I usually just start with a sketch and block in colors early on. I really like to skip the lineart part 😝
Work In Progress
A lot of my paintings are just a work in progress. I want to show some sneak peeks of them here anyway. I hope this section will soon become smaller as I finish my drawings. 😅
